The “She Loves Me Not” Gatsby
Irish graphic designer Paul Breen created a clever series of black & white Gatsby covers, of which this is my favorite. Not only does it reference Daisy and utilize yellow, aka The Official Color of The Great Gatsby™, it also captures the novel’s central, lovelorn theme of “She loves me… She loves me not.”
(And for those not counting, she loves him not.)
